Safety at Crossings : Mastering Rule 295
1. Stop on Movement
As soon as the barrier or gate begins to close , vehicles must stop and wait immediately .
2. Maintain Station
Drivers must remain behind the barrier or gate while it is in the closed position or in motion .
3. Wait for Full Opening
Do not attempt to cross the tracks or roadway until the barrier or gate has opened completely .
