Safe Execution
You must come to a complete stop behind the solid white line across the road at any junction marked with a ' Stop ' sign .
Once stopped , you must remain stationary and wait for a safe gap in the traffic flow before attempting to move off .

Compliance with the Stop sign is a legal requirement under Section 36 of the RTA 1988 .
Only proceed through the junction when it is entirely safe to do so , ensuring your maneuver does not force other road users to change speed or direction .
