Single-track roads. These are only wide enough for one vehicle. They may have special passing places. If you see a vehicle coming towards you, or the driver behind wants to overtake, pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite a passing place on your right. Give way to road users coming uphill whenever you can. If necessary, reverse until you reach a passing place to let the other vehicle pass. Slow down when passing pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders.

Identifying the Road
Single - Track Roads :
Passing Places :
Specific , widened areas where two vehicles can safely pass or overtake one another .
Wait Opposite a Passing Place on Your Right :
If the passing place is on your right , stop and wait opposite it to allow the other vehicle to pull into it and pass you .
Reverse if Necessary : If you meet a vehicle and there is no passing place between you , you must reverse until you reach a passing place to allow the other vehicle through .
Slow Down for Non - Motorized Users :
Drivers must significantly reduce to their speed when passing pedestrians , cyclists , and horse riders on narrow tracks .
Encountering Other Vehicles
Pull into a Passing Place on Your Left :
If you see an oncoming vehicle or a driver behind you wants to overtake , move into the passing place on your left side .
Give Way to Uphill Traffic : Whenever possible , road users traveling uphill should be given priority and allowed to pass first .
