Rule 145 :
Keep Off the Pavement
THE CORE PROHIBITION
No Driving on Pedestrian Paths
You must not drive on or over a pavement , footpath , or bridleway under normal circumstances .
LEGAL EXCEPTIONS
Lawful Access to Property
Driving over these areas is permitted only when it is required to gain legal entry to a specific property .
Emergency Situations
Exceptions are made in the event of an emergency where driving on a restricted path becomes necessary .
