Climbing and crawler lanes. These are provided on some hills. Use this lane if you are driving a slow-moving vehicle or if there are vehicles behind you wishing to overtake. Be aware of the signs and road markings which indicate the lane is about to end.

Awareness of the lane's end allows for a smooth , safe transition back into the primary driving lane without disrupting the flow of traffic .
Use if Driving a Slow - Moving Vehicle
If your vehicle's power is limited by the gradient , move into the crawler lane to maintain steady progress without blocking others .
Observe Road Markings
Pay close attention to the white lines on the road surface which will indicate the lane is narrowing or merging .
Use to Facilitate Overtaking
Even if you aren't in a heavy vehicle , you should move into this lane if there are vehicles behind you wishing to overtake .
