SKILL BUILDING & CONFIDENCE
The Ride Safe Award Inexperienced riders or those returning after a long break should consider taking the British Horse Society ( BHS ) Ride Safe Award for a foundation in road safety .
Manage Traffic Nerves
If a horse is nervous about traffic , always ride with other , more experienced and less nervous horses to provide stability .
