BEWARE OF SPEED DIFFERENTIALS
Traffic within bus and cycle lanes may move significantly faster than vehicles in the adjacent standard lanes .
WATCH FOR COUNTER - FLOW TRAFFIC
Be alert for vehicles in these lanes moving against the general flow of traffic , as some lanes are designed for two - way or opposing travel .
